"Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! "Property is quirky and well located but outdoor space needs some TLC to make it more usable and some more friendly outdoor seating. I found it unusual to be asked to strip the bed and put into a plastic bag before departing. Everything needed was there and I would return."

"Achtung, wir konnten unser Elektroauto laden, allerdings wurden uns am Ende 0,75£ / kw/h verrechnet! Das ist natürlich viel zu viel für eine Wallbox. Zugegebenermaßen haben wir im Vorfeld nicht nach dem Preis gefragt, wir haben mit so einem Wucher aber auch einfach nicht gerechnet. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten eine gemütliche, saubere Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war ruhig in Richtung Garten. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar."

"The room we stayed in was far too hot. Even though we had the window open, the temperature control set to 16°C and the fan on, it was very uncomfortable. We found it difficult to sleep. We also spent as short a time as possible in our room. We were disappointed with the food available. The website advertised a Market Menu, which wasn't available. Just the expensive menu in the restaurant to choose from. However the breakfast staff we very courteous and the choice of food was excellent."

"Bathroom had Mould around Groutline & Seal, also around basin Waste& Overflow. Breakfast was absolutely awful, Although we were offered a discount, I would have preferred to Pay extra for a Nice Breakfast. The Hotel was very accommodating with regards to our Dog, However there were NO Dog Bins which even The Staff were Surprised. Room Size was Good & Bed Really Comfy."
