"Lovely and very friendly hosts. Breakfast plentiful. B&B is on the other side of the river. Short uber ride did the trick. Quiet location. Old newspaper building so has character. The hosts have been doing it up over the years. Parts of the B&B could do with a bit of updating (eg paintwork on doors), but most importantly it's clean and spacious. Bathroom was new. Very nice breakfast area. Had a lovely short stay. "

"Great location, good food+drink. The bed's and pillows are very soft with spotless white bedding. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room, nice big TV and nice clean rooms. My only criticism is that being disabled I had to pay £20 per night parking the same as anybody else, I thought it would be free or discounted for blue badge holders, that is my only criticism. The staff were excellent. Great hotel."

"Lovely hotel. Feels new and fresh. Huge room.there was a king bed and large single in a separate alcove. Good heating controls, lights and sockets. Full length mirror with light and socket for the hairdryer - a convenience so often missed by hotels. Big bathroom with rainfall and handheld showers. Entry at all levels with key card. Kept my bags before and after check-in/out. Location very central right next to Liverpool One but up a lane so was quiet. Fab "

" Lovely spacious room. Good range of amenities. Tea, coffee in room and you just help yourself for refills. Good sized bathroom, and the shower was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Fresh breakfast with plenty of choice. Hotel is close to attractions and restaurants. Quiet area. Would recommend and would stay again. "

"The apartment was really beautiful, great location and we had everything we needed. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that it was very noisy. The bedroom windows backed onto a small lane, where there were bin trucks collecting glass bottles from wheely bins all through the night. We didn't get much sleep and that was difficult with small kids. This was worse midweek, it started at 3 or 4am and continued until 7am. The sound was extremely loud, if it was just the noise of...

"Lovely and spacious apartment. Had everything we needed for a short break. Very clean and a central location.The noise from Matthew Street was a lot and went long into the night. We were prepared for some noise and went armed with earplugs. But did not expect it to be as bad as it was. Maybe better glazing would rectify that. Another downside was the blinds. They did not block out the light at all. Because of these two factors I would not stay again but would look to book another property with...
