Sublime Tahiti Beach Retreat

Sublime Tahiti Beach Retreat

10/10 Excellent
"Sublime, is Just That! A relaxing secluded piece if heaven nestled on a beautiful lagoon. The bungalow was delightful, clean and simple. Perfect for a first time visit or a return escape. The ocean view was breathtaking, the grounds, immaculate and the sunsets enchanting! We recommend renting a car at the airport as it is about a 50 min drive. The staff was so helpful and recommended some wonderful places to have dinner. As for lunch, the restaurant on the property was fabulous! If you are there on a Sunday, go to the traditional buffet! Over all we would Highly recommend Sublime Retreat to anyone, and we already have! Thank you for an Incredible first visit! We will be back"

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the Panoramic Tree House. It was such a unique space to explore and sleep in and added so much to our stay in Tahiti. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful with local information. The Tree House is an impeccably constructed space, with modern fixtures, air conditioning and privacy hidden inside a huge mango tree. We felt very special. Our daily breakfast with local baked goods and fresh fruits was a great way to start the day. We enjoyed a daily walk into town, to explore the town and sample various restaurants. Louis and his wife are terrific hosts and we were lucky to have this opportunity on the Island!"

Villa Mitirapa

Villa Mitirapa

8/10 Good
"Overall a nice place to stay with a few caveats. Easy check-in with the keys on the counter and quick response by email. We stayed in Aura where two rooms have AC and one does not - was not a problem for our stay. The third room has a fan. The rooms have plenty of open shelf space for clothes. The deck overlooking the lagoon and private pool were favorites. There was a nice breeze during our stay. Bring bug spray though (as with most places on island). It would have been nice to have hand towels and wash clothes, not just bath and beach towels. Also, some hooks in the bedroom to hang up towels or clothes. The shower has body wash and shampoo; some shelves for personal washing supplies would be helpful. There was a lot of roof noise one particular night from what we think were birds collecting seeds from the tree overhead. Our neighbors didn't have the same foilage so this may be specific to our Villa. It bothered some of us more than others, so if you are a light sleeper, the islands of Tahiti in general can be noisy with dogs, roosters and other wildlife. The WiFi worked well but we had to request the password. This proved difficulty since we had spotty personal service. There were chocolates left for us at check-in which was a nice welcome. Thank you for sharing your Villa with us."
