"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. "Great breakfast— large buffet at about $30 per person Grounds lovely and well taken care of. Rooms large. Pool nice. Access to the beach not easy , seemed like a steep drop off. The water wasn’t inviting. Would recommend but not for beach."

"Great place to stay in town. Center of everything and I’m front of the ferries. Stayed there twice during my time in Papeete. Got the cabin bunk for a solo traveler no complaints communal showers outside that separates men and woman. Easy place for easy travelers. "

"Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."

"We stayed at this cozy little place the night we arrived in Papeete and again before flying out. The free airport shuttle was a lifesaver - staff were extremely friendly and did not hesitate to accommodate our 2 a.m. airport drop-off for our 4 a.m. flight. The rooms were simple but spotless, and it’s clear they put care into the decor - the beds were SO comfortable. Overall, a super convenient and welcoming stay!"

"Sweet couple run this place. They were so kind and helpful. Took me to the store twice!!! Brought chocolate croissants on my 1st morning The cabin was clean and a basic kitchen and dining table so meals could be prepared. The snorkeling right off the shore and out to the orange bout to the east was amazing. I loved just hanging out and reading and sunning in the garden but I do recommend having a car. We had the entire upstairs available to us, but only needed one of the two bedrooms, the bathroom & the use of the kettle & refrigerator. We had all we needed & more! The owner is very nice & she took great care of us while we were there. Highly recommend the TeMana Lodge!"
