This was definitely the most traditional place we stayed in terms of not being able to wear shoes at all in the hotel and having a much more Japanese breakfast. Location wise you are in the heart of Asakusa and close to transit so it is convenient. Though I found I wasn’t as big of an Asakusa fan as I thought I would be. "It is as advertised. However, it is bit removed from activities. It is 6 minutes walk to Asakusa station. There are plenty of stores and activities near the Asakusa station. There are washer/dryer combo in each room which is huge plus, But, it was slow to dry, as any washer/dryer combo unit. The room was clean and comfortable. Staffs were helpful and courteous."

"An absolutely great spot to explore the city. It’s a few blocks off a Main Street and close to the train and bus lines. It’s close to several amazing temples and shrines, with numerous hidden gems all around. The staff speaks English far better than my Japanese, and anything beyond that was covered with translation apps or simply pointing. Clean, kind and cornered near some of the best things Tokyo has to offer."
