"Breakfast is the problem. We were told that Sunday there is no breakfast, which is not written anywhere on the website; so we had to have - and pay for - breakfast somewhere else. Then, when we had breakfast the other days, we were asked to order the evening before (not written on Expedia as well) and what we were given was barely enough. We all had to spend extra money to reach a very minimum bearable breakfast - as we are people who were in Peterborough to work, not holiday."

"Room was nice and clean although bathroom shower unit a bit worn/ warped. Only there for one night but house keeping still tried to come in our room around 9.30 am despite checkout not being until noon. Also TV randomly came on a couple of times in the night, which was a bit annoying"

"Lovely hotel, staff were fantastic and room was cleaned to an okay standard. We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned, tea/coffee not replenished, no fresh towels, toilet rolls not replenished resulting in me having to call reception for more. That was the only downside to the stay"

"Had such a relaxing stay, staff were very welcoming and helpful, they even left me a note to wish me a Happy Birthday which was unexpected and so lovely. Rooms were beautiful, had the best sleep in a while! Food is exceptional and plenty of both in and our door spaces to relax with a few drinks. Easy short walk to the town centre as well as Burley House. Definitely recommend this hotel for all occasions. Shall be staying again very soon!"

"The hotel is situated on a very busy road which can make it difficult to join traffic as you are leaving the car park. Having said that we were initially fearful that the room would be noisy but with double glazing and the room being at the rear it was fine. There was plenty of parking but my husband has limited mobility and there was no disabled parking bay near to reception which was situated a fair way away from the car park. "The hotel was excellent. We were offered a room upgrade on our arrival to a deluxe room and the room was superb. Very clean and comfortable with both a bath and separate shower - huge bathroom. The bar area was cosy and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Good selection of wines. We will definitely be returning. Just wish our stay had been longer."

"Enjoyable stay . The sink click clack plug didn’t work and twice it was promised to be attended too but unfortunately didn’t get repaired/replaced so we had to use tissue as a plug . Everything else was good ."
