"We stayed here upon arrival in Papeete the night before our cruise left. Recently reopened, it was a really nice place convenient to airport and cruise dock ($35 taxi ride). Great pool, right on lagoon with some snorkeling and REALLY nice views. Landscaping is beautiful. Staff was very helpful, front desk, pool service and bar/restaurant. After cruise we came back for a day pass for $60 with $20 bar/restaurant credit. You need to reserve through restaurant ahead of time. Food was good but...

"We loved this lodge! It has an incredible view from the balcony. We had the entire upstairs available to us, but only needed one of the two bedrooms, the bathroom & the use of the kettle & refrigerator. We had all we needed & more! The owner is very nice & she took great care of us while we were there. Highly recommend the TeMana Lodge!"

"Great place to stay in town. Center of everything and I’m front of the ferries. Stayed there twice during my time in Papeete. Got the cabin bunk for a solo traveler no complaints communal showers outside that separates men and woman. Easy place for easy travelers. "

"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. "Room was large as was the bathroom. Had a couch in the room which was nice even though on the older side. The top sheet on the bed were strange as only about 3/4's in length and not tucked in.. Very odd !! Didnt actually bother me as still slept great, Great location as only 10mins walk from the pier if arriving by ship. "

We were only there for a layover before our cruise so we didn’t really use the amenities other than the fitness room (had all that I needed to get a good full body weight workout done), and the Algortherm Spa (we had a couples massage -well done-and used the steam room there. The resort needs a little bit of a makeover. Honestly, if they just spruced up all the hallways that are brown/off-white with some brighter colors, I think that would do wonders.
