"Did a late booking for a business trip. Great service by staff who contacted me and explained the self check in process as I arrived in the late evening. Accommodated a late change I made and were very helpful. Beautifully renovated property with lots of parking, spacious room with good amenities and comfy bed and bedding. "This was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again."

"After getting a bit lost with Apple Maps we arrived via a country lane with google maps. Still very conveniently located a short drive from M25 and Hertfordshire zoo. Apple Maps seem to take you to the other side of carriageway, beware.

"It was a beautiful period room, the pub downstairs looked amazing, we got in quite late so it had stopped serving food sadly. Really quiet over night and a beautiful location. I will be returning with more time!"
"Only had a short stay but it was great. I checked in late at night after a concert in London, and was leaving early in the morning to fly home. The room lovely, spacious and clean. The member of staff who checked me in was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The shuttle service to and from the airport was extremely convenient. Would definitely stay again!"
