"As far as location this place was as close as it gets. As far as staff they were very nice. But this place has no amenities at all. The rooms are extremely basic. I didn't even have a lamp in my room I had to ask for one. The front desk was pleasant and helpful and he got me a lamp but in my opinion every room should have 2 lamps. The furniture, shower everything was very basic but for a quick stop to the beach I suppose it was ok. I mean for instance the tv stand and tv was lower than the...

"The attention to detail in this hotel is amazing, down to the tile work lining up in the bathrooms around corners, as a designer this made my heart so full. Bikes and beach towels are available to use for the beach. The wet bar is stocked up on thoughtful items to easily grab if needed at a reasonable price. The views are absolutely amazing. I would live there if I could. 100/10 experience. Valet is around a $60 per night additional charge."

"Wouldn’t stay again. The rooms are clean and bed comfortable. They charge you a $40USD resort fee for a hotel with NO amenities. Only one elevator with broken AC for seven floors that is shares with the rooftop restaurant that gets very crowded during weekends. Complimentary breakfast is only yogurt, coffee and a few fruits. Very disappointing"

"Definitely not what was advertised, very run down. Yes, Venice Beach is not the most beautiful place and has a lot going on the boardwalk but it was definitely not what I excepted. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to go and stay please know that it’s a tiny room and has no amenities available besides a tv and a mini fridge."

"This small hotel was a gem. With its friendly and accommodating staff (shout out to Alphonso) and its retro/modern decor made it charming. Everything worked well and our room was perfectly clean with great beds for a great sleep! Will definitely stay here again when we visit our family nearby. 👍😊"

"Large room, near shops and restaurants, parking. Two things of note. An intermittent high pitched noise came from somewhere in the motel. It didn’t stop me sleeping or anything but I wondered why staff didn’t do anything about it. Two, I stayed in a dozen hotels on this trip, this was the only one not to have a peephole in the door, or any form of secondary door lock, you know a flip out metal stop, a ball and cradle, a chain. Not having either of these dosent exactly make the place feel safer."
