"The room was beautiful! Spacious & comfortable. I LOVE the soft, plush carpet :) We had in room dining from the restaurant & the food was delicious! Service from all the staff was superb - everyone was kind & helpful. Can't beat the location overlooking the Pacific Ocean & just a short walk down to the beach or the Santa Monica Pier. I highly recommend this hotel!!"

"It’s a small, cute room. Good condition. Mini-fridge and AC were good. No coffee maker. The bathroom was really small with no counter space. I had a room with a queen bed and 2 twin beds. The queen bed was comfortable but squeaky. The twin beds less so. Clean."

"Hotel itself is charming. Conveniently opposite a supermarket. However the hotel is fully open to the street and no security overnight."

Goodies in the room free water and coffee . The good kind ! And Showers with the perfect temp and amazing products ! Alchemist shampoo...

"Overall not bad but for price they charge it would be good to offer English breakfast tea along with the herbals. Had to pay for it at the bar. Parking was expensive. Pool was very small and Cold."

"Can’t believe I paid $450 to stay at a slight remodeled motel that has seen better days. It was clean enough but not deserving of the 4.8 stars/excellent reviews that it had. It’s on the beach so that’s nice but it smelled like chemical cleaners and was rough around the edges for sure"

"The room was ok. But what made me lower stars is the fact that the EV chargers are only for valet parked vehicles. They never explained that anywhere while making the reservation. That was a big reason to pick that specific hotel. The self parking alone was already expensive, but gatekeeping the chargers with valet was not a great move. To top it off it's probably 3 chargers, so if you are planning to use the hotel as a destination to charge, don't even bother."

"Amazing location, beautiful views of the ocean, plenty of green landscape m, trees, and relaxation spots for winding down. Excellent food located on property, and staff were all friendly and helpful. The bathroom could use an update, but the positive ls far outweigh the bathroom decor. We will be back at the Fairmont SM."
