"We stayed during the recent heatwave, and unfortunately the bedrooms did not have air conditioning, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. We were initially provided with a Dyson fan, but it wasn’t working properly. After reporting this, it was replaced with two small desk fans, which we appreciated, but they still weren’t enough to keep the room cool. Breakfast was okay overall, but I was disappointed by the lack of inclusive options. If you don’t eat pork, there were no alternative meat...

"We had a really lovely stay at Chesford Grange. The hotel itself has a peaceful atmosphere, and our room was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was a great place to relax. The only downside was the spa facilities, which felt quite dated and could do with some refurbishment. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"A very cosy & modern hotel in a quiet & secure location with the loveliest yet professional staff. Spent a night during the work trip, was a perfect place to unwind despite being on the warmest day of the year! Food from the Bistro was very good & the breakfast was Excellent with a wide range of quality choices. Highly recommend for work trip as well as short getaway. Will definitely visit for latter next time!"

"King size bed which was a double Air con didn’t work Water pressure was awful and kept going from hot to cold Staff seemed to care but this was quickly shattered when I saw them joking about a customer after speaking to them. The breakfast was ok without any hot vegan options. Room service trays were left unattended outside rooms. I booked to try and escape the heat however this ended up only being some what of a success Pool was warm and uncomfortable to swim in would liked it be cooler I...

"A 1 night stay before an early flight. Arrived behind a coach party so check in was slow. Had a reasonable quiet room. Had a good nights sleep. Can’t complain."

"Scaffolding placed across the window so unable to vent the room. Unbearable heat in both the corridor and the room. Nothing anyone can do about the weather, but you should be able to open a window in the evening to try and cool down. Windows are restricted, not a problem. But couldn’t get that far as scaffold was in the way. Staff told me- he didn’t put the scaffold up. Very unhelpful. Awful place, never again."

"This hotel surpassed my expectations of an airport hotel! Really clean new and wonderful staff. Good breakfast It is literally two minutes walk to airport. As soon as you walk out of airport and cross the street it is there!"

"Hotel was clean and well maintained. Lovely grounds. Doesn’t have air conditioning but fans are provided. We had an issue as had booked twin rooms which I confirmed over 3 phone call but was assigned double rooms which the hotel did rectify but couldn’t done with out the hassle. Make sure you have written confirmation if you require twin rooms. Otherwise all good."
