"An incredible stay at the SANA Sesimbra. My room faced the beach, complete with a balcony. The room itself has a gorgeous midcentury modern hardwood bed with nightstand built-ins, and there is a matching built-in wardrobe, giving the space an elevated, timeless vibe. What really blew me away was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. When I believed I had lost my wallet in town after I left Sesimbra, the employees walked to the cafe I had been at to see if anyone had turned one in. Truly...

"What a fabulous hotel for exploring Lisbon! It is in the Baixa but is so accessible to almost everything you want to see. The common areas and rooms are beautifully designed and feature many nods to Lisbon landmarks. The breakfast is stellar, with lovely fruit and egg dishes to order. Even though this is a busy street, the rooms are quiet at night. The linens and beds are high quality and the staff is friendly and helpful. I will look for this brand in other European cities."

"The staff at the hotel and the location were both excellent. The bed itself was very hard. We did ask for better pillows after the first night sleep and they provided some which were more comfortable. There’s no place in the bathroom to plug in the blow dryer so women have to use a blow dryer in the room where there is not a mirror. Our balcony only had one chair, even though there were two of us in the room and I had to ask for a second chair which they got to us by the end of our second day....

"We stayed for 9 nights. The first impression was as we expected of a 5 star luxury hotel. The conseirge/luggage carrying guy was fantastic - a really nice welcoming. Couldn't remember his name - it was the same first name as the general manager I think he'd said. The room was very comfortable, clean and really spacious with a massive bed. We had a view of the pool and the gardens. I like the old part of the building with all its character and private chapel. The new part is kind of bolted on...

"Truly enjoyed our week at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is incredible, the shower is amazing and the bed is very comfortable! The only thing I would say is that the light in the bathroom should be stronger to help with applying makeup. I will definitely come back! "
