"Loved our stay but had a few low points. The room we stayed in was very close to the road and it was very noisy every morning with the traffic, could not sleep in. It was also especially noisy on Friday night. Service was good but a little too transactional."

"The property is beautiful and the staff amazing. The pool villas are well appointed, and the pools are well taken care of. Be prepared for a bit of a hike to get to them, but they are worth the walk. The restaurant has a nice variety of Malaysian and Western food and the quality is excellent. Staff went out of their way to accomodate all our requests and were very helpful. The shuttle into Ubud Centre runs regularly. I would recommend to anyone who wants a first class resort experience!"

"Paradise retreat after busier areas of Bali. It feels like a grand hotel of old with Incredible views, amazing staff - in particular ‘Goose’ provided our table with an absolutely 5 star dinner service. Good selection of food and wine. Spa service was terrific. A real highlight for us was doing the bicycle tour organized by the hotel with the wonderful Resa through the historical town and nearby rice fields. Such an authentic adventure. A very special place! Amazing value."

"A very quiet and serene atmosphere. Breakfast options were amazing. We were very shocked, as a small Group of friends, that there was no door or privacy between the bathroom and bedroom. The air con has to stay on full the whole time due to the heat and it was very very loud making it impossible to sleep."

"Great staff and service. But no gym and can’t bring trainer or will charge extra even the gym has nothing. Nothing around the resort and you need taxi if u wanna go anywhere. The free shuttle bus service only works every 2 hours and might not suit ur schedule. "

"After we arrived early they offered a free shuttle into Ubud which we enjoyed..pool service and all meals were excellent! They even provided breakfast before the posted hours for us the next day as we had a tour to go on! Thanks so much!"

Hotel layout very good but on the first night the neighbouring hotel had very loud techno music going on until the early hours. Not the hotels fault but could have been mentioned in the hotel info or in the reviews. "

"This was a great hotel option for us on our first visit to Bali. The staff was very kind, and building was clean and well kept. Food at the restaurant was fantastic. My only reservation with staying here again is that the hotel is located on a very busy street. You can walk to some things nearby, but it’s not the safest road to walk on. "Hands down the most eco friendly/sustainable property I’ve stayed at in Bali! More hotels and properties should be doing the same. No water bottles with water refill stations throughout the hotel. Ideal for families with the rooms having kitchenettes, laundry facilities. We loved the rooftop pool and spent most of our time up there.
