"We did a lot of research when looking for a hotel in New York, shortlisting a handful of hotels that all had similar facilities. We picked San Carlos because of the room size, the fact it had a separate toilet (half bathroom) for our two kids, and the good reviews.
Location was excellent, an easy walk to places like Rockerfeller Center, 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station, Times Square etc.
The staff were very friendly, super helpful, always said hello to us when returning to the hotel.
