"I had a great time, it was comfortable. Only issue I had was that the room felt super humid and smelled like mold. Other than that it was good."

"Breakfast was the standard fare for hotels. Old Town is centrally located in San Diego. Walking distance to most of your needs. Mexican food all around. The shoe store next to Cafe Coyote is great. Good prices, nice staff."

"The place was a maze to find our room. Lots of walking. This place has a lot of age on it. Elevators are hard to understand. The front desk is little help. We had a pleasant, if not too spectacular, stay. The beds were too soft, in our opinions. The place is in a good location."

"Disappointing from when we first walked into the hotel and found construction and plastic sheathing up all over the lobby area and the noise of their efforts The free breakfast was mediocre and then suprised at check out that we were charged $28 parking fee.....which was not clesrly listed on Expedia without digging to find it."

"The hotel has balconies for each room BUT don't bother it is so LOUD you cannot even open the door to the balcony. Very disappointing"

"When I called for a crib morning of check in, they said no problem. However when I checked in they said it’s based on availability, which makes sense but that is NOT what I was told. So no crib the first night. If I had known I would have brought my own. Oh by the way the “crib” is a pack n play. The floor smelled like weed on my floor, seems they couldn’t figure out who it was. The room layout of the room is was odd and the pictures are misleading. One overnight staff person was rude and dismissive when I inquired about the STRONG natural gas odor in the lobby. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, will not stay at any Best Western again."
