"I loved my short time at Cyashitsu Ryokan. The staff were all so sweet and helpful. The rooms are set up in traditional style, so be aware the doorways and ceiling are low. It's a short walk from Senso-ji and Asakusa Station. Asakusa is an interesting area; full of covered markets and great food. The ryokan even has a big book or restaurant and entertainment recommendations. Breakfast was Japanese style and delicious. The private bath is great if you're shy like me. Above the privacy curtain, you can see Tokyo Skytree alight at night. I will definitely be staying at Cyashitsu the next time I'm in Tokyo. "

"Really enjoyed our stay here, the breakfast buffet is additional but delicious and convenient when most places don’t open until 11am. Quick walk to Senso-ji temple and street food stalls. Ichiran and Don Quijote and Uniqlo nearby! The only complaint is that it is not next to a train line that can be a little walk. "

"Really good hotel. Great location. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Had laundry machine. Buffet breakfast had enough variety and good coffee/tea choices. Rooms were soundproof. Our room was small but I was prepared for this ahead of time and we managed with 3 pieces of large luggage. So nice to have a bath to soak after a day of sightseeing. Great value and we would definitely stay here again. "
