"We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating. Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. "David the owner is fantastic nothing is too much trouble, the accommodation is very well located close to the Airport in a quiet location. When we got there late on a cold evening from a very warm Europe David had turned the heater on before we arrived very thoughtful indeed, highly recommend staying here. A good basic breakfast is in the room it is very adequate."

"It seems like the price is high for what you are getting. The location is beautiful by the ocean and within walking distance of the Bluff ocean trail. However, we were expecting a little bit more luxury. There was no unique character or coziness to the place you would expect of a boutique hotel. The staff are friendly and the bed was comfortable. The room was rather small, although it was over looking the ocean."
