"Great hotel with great staff but I can't give it 5 stars for 2 reasons 1. The biggest by far is there is no beach to swim on. If you want to go into the ocean higher than your waste to swim you basically have to go around all the cabins in stilts. 2. Is their 'king' bed is 2 single beds pushed together which is less of an issue but still should not have been in a 4 star hotel"

"This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth. "

"Beautiful property especially over water bungalows. The staff were very attentive, helpful, friendly and gracious. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the dinner staff were so nice. The water sports team was so nice, one gentleman who competes in the outrigger team accompanied me on my 1st outrigger ride to show me the ropes. "Everything was really good overall, and I enjoyed my stay. However, I would appreciate it if the hotel could provide a wider range of TV channels, particularly Sky and sports channels. For such a large property, it was surprising that there were no Sky channels available and only a few basic TV channels. "Staff was amazing as soon as we landed. Porters/Bell Hops were awesome, we had a lot of luggage and they took great care of us and were extremely kind. Front Desk were all awesome too, they handled all of our requests with kindness and care. Would stay here again upon the next visit to Tahiti"
