"The hotel was cold, the bar and restaurant downstairs were cold and so was my room, also not helped that my air-con worked the first night I stayed and then failed on the second night. It is an okay hotel, however could be much better with a little help."

"Fab location next to lime st station, clean and tidy, reception staff are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. Great when you want to go to the Christmas market. The hotel is on a hill though. I spend a lot of time in Liverpool and this is my go to hotel. It’s a gem of a place.dx"

"Stayed here for a second time and it’s a lovely hotel. Room was quiet. Stayed in the small double which was perfect for one person for a few nights. Bed was very comfy and cosy. Bathroom and shower were great too. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again if in Liverpool for it being a lovely hotel and in a great location. This hotel doesn’t serve breakfast which didn’t bother me anyway."

"We were very grateful for a room so close to Anfield and the staff were absolutely lovely, but the free parking wasn't available as they have more rooms than parking spaces and we were about worried parking on the roadside, which it was suggested we do instead. We slept quite well, despite doors outside our room that regularly slam loudly. We couldn't shower in the morning though as the water literally just trickles out. This was blamed on too many guests showering at once, but another guest said it was the same at midnight when it's unkikely anyone else was showering. Not being able to shower isn't really acceptable at any price. Breakfast was okay - a continental buffet with cereal, pastries, toast, fruit and cereal. Liverpool won, so overall a great trip! "
