"Location on the beach is perfect. Right in the middle. Everything is located left or right of you. For the price is the key. The nicer ones are on each end of the area which both have a lot of car traffic or people traffic."

"I am obsessed with trains. I didn't pick a train side room because I knew the river was what I wanted more on this trip. but I wish I could've done both at the same time! The staff was courteous and knowledgable. I had to leave too early for breakfast and they offered and it was packed it for me. there is a kettle in the room! this is gold! and they were so good with when I really should leave for the airport and getting the taxi."

However, The new wing of the hotel where most guests stay , is now 25 years old. It is in need of refurbishment. Still, the rooms are large, clean, with lovely traditional furnishings. "Had 1 night in Lisbon. Was given our room and 4 hours later (as we were out exploring) asked to vacate and move to a different room due to their error. Hotel forced us to cut afternoon short and return to hotel to move belongings. Only to learn they had already been in our room to potentially move our stuff without our consent, even leaving the door, with all our belongings inside, completely ajar! We’e offered a complimentary drink for our troubles…what a joke"
