I really enjoyed my stay at AVA Cancun. The resort is beautiful, modern, and has a lot to offer with great amenities, good food, and a fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and overall it was a great experience. One thing to keep in mind is that the resort is very large, so be prepared to do a lot of walking to get around. If you don’t mind that, it’s definitely a great place to stay.

Booked with Expedia. Arrived at the hotel and was assigned a personal concierge. In addition we received a room upgrade. No complaints. Restaurant bookings were available and the buffet was well stocked and very tasty. The many pools were clean and where most spent the time. A lot of very comfortable outdoor seating to eat, relax and socialize. Staff were well trained to be representatives of the hotel. Definitely a stand out. Our stay at AVA Resort in Cancun was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful and well-kept the property is; everything felt first-class and thoughtfully designed. What truly stood out was the level of service. Our personal assistant, Rodrigo, went above and beyond throughout our stay. He checked in with us every day, made sure our plans were in order, and kept us updated on all the activities happening around the resort. His attention to detail and genuine care made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. All in all, the stunning resort, great amenities, and exceptional service made this a trip to remember. We highly recommend AVA Resort Cancun and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Property is very clean and huge. The staff is friendly. Minor issue with toilet (previous guest flushed a card) but maintenance responded quickly and professionally. Our personal assistant Israel was the best. He made our stay special.

This was my first time staying at the AVA Resort and I loved it, it’s clean, new, family friendly, and they have a lot of staff that is well trained. The check in was so easy and fast (if you book with EXPEDIA or are a member you get private check in and a concierge). We check in and got our room in under 20 minutes, we got placed on the north side room 729, we were right downstairs from the bowling alley, arcade, buffet, a bar, taqueria, ice cream shop, and the pool deck. Unfortunately we were only able to try 1 restaurant with was the MINAMI and it was a 10/10. The buffet was good not great. They had 2 coffee stands that were good too. It is a super safe and secured place, we did excursions everyday so we got Ubers and we had to let the workers know so they can give access to the drivers. The pools were clean, you’re always able to get reservations for the water activities. My 5 year old loved the kids club, they have different activities everyday and have certain hours for family time. Worker clean room 2 times a day, room service food is good and fast. Check out was fast too. Loved this resort will definitely be coming back. The location was amazing only 10 minutes away from the airport and Ubers ranged from 5-10 dollars to zona hotelera

Poor service. Restaurants were empty but still didn’t allow us in.breakfast Buffet don’t have basic fruits like banana, apple, mango. Once food is finished in buffet bowls, no one is filling it up. Rice once finished , no one refilled the containers. Breads during the breakfast were finished. Ice cream shop guy said cones are finished even though I saw a huge huge box of waffle cones under the shelf. Couldn’t get premium liquor like macallan or blue label and not even glenfiddich at the restaurants even though we were ready to pay for it. JW Black label tasted very weird. Reserved a cabana for whole day but someone else took it without even paying for it and management couldn’t do anything about it. So so so many flaws. Will never go there again. Bad experience

Its like living in a shopping mall ,not enough restaurants according to their rooms,we were three families about 12 people we went there for 7 nights didn’t get reservations for any reasturants,less variety of food in their buffets,they didn’t even have bananas to eat😂,we do visit cancun every year but this property was one of the worst resorts we have ever gone.even kids were disappointed.doesn’t feel like vacation.

Beautiful property, but they really need a better system for back-of-house operations. There were multiple times when I was walking back to my room and saw room service plates sitting in front of rooms overnight—or even for two days—which took away from the overall experience. I had two rooms booked, and one of them appeared to have just come off maintenance without proper cleaning. The room was dirty, the snacks and mini fridge were not fully stocked, and the bed sheets even had hair on them. Housekeeping also needs improvement. When they clean your room, they don’t always replenish the towels they take—you have to call and request replacements, and there’s an expectation to tip for that service. Upon arrival, we also requested additional bottled water for the bathroom to brush our teeth, but it never arrived. That said, the resort does have really great food options. I highly recommend making dining reservations in advance. Even though some say it’s not necessary, it definitely makes the experience smoother. Overall, I would consider staying at this resort again if they improve their cleanliness standards and create a more efficient system for maintaining hallways and rooms.

I been to so many resorts in Cancun this by far was not the greatest overall amenities for kids is great but the staff was not the friendliest, also by the pool area they don't come to clean often and birds come by and start grabbing the food, the beach was very brown and the smell outside was very strong like sewage. While in the buffet we encounter at least 3 cooks who were very rude by the south side pizza station not polite at all and the bartender by the italian restaurant ignoring us constantly but if you wanna just enjoy kids ameneties its a must just dont expect a great service here. also if your coming pls book restaurant reservations before coming to the resort like 3 weeks prior so you can have a good timing otherwise you will have dinner at 9.45 pm NO JOKe

The property is brand new and the pool was amazing. The obstacle course on water was a blast for my children. Oscar O. with in-room dining in the North tower brought breakfast for us 2 mornings and was very helpful. He told us about the hotel's history and was very welcoming. The selection of food was vast though the restaurant reservation was difficult - either we got 5pm or 8pm time. The staff were all very friendly. The Ava Kids club had family drop in which was great for us.

Poolside staff was excellent! Luis, Elias, and Eduardo provided 5-star service. They were very attentive and delivered our drinks and food seamlessly with zero effort on our part. We highly recommend finding them on the North end pool across from the swim-up bar.
