Resort is new and very nice. Was not as fun or personable as other RIU resorts. We had partial Oceanview overlooking the public beach. Rooms very nice. Room service very basic. They charged us $25 to get the sheets changed as my son had got sick. We tipped $5 daily too... Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

I loved the staff, the beach was beautiful, the food could have been better and a terrible experience at the steak house.

Pool was clean and there was fun activities for kids. Nice big rooms that were clean and well maintained. Food was pretty good all around. If you have a good sensitivity you need to let them know and you'll receive a card to show at the restaurant.

We had a really great stay at RIU Ventura in Cancun and would absolutely come back. The food was consistently good across the restaurants, the drinks were strong and well-made. They were genuinely friendly and made a big impression on us. The rooms were very clean and well-kept, and the overall resort felt fresh and well-maintained. The pools were also great and always something going on. The only downside for us was the swim-up pool being restricted to 18+. We traveled with a 16- and 17-year-old, and it was disappointing that we couldn’t all enjoy that pool together...especially since the swim-up pool is usually one of the main attractions at a resort. It was even more confusing because the rooftop pool was advertised as the adults-only area, so we didn’t expect another restriction elsewhere. I wish that had been more clearly communicated ahead of time. That said, everything else about the trip was fantastic. Great food, great service, clean rooms, and fun pool areas overall. Just be aware of the swim-up pool age restriction if you’re traveling with teens.

I had to change the room because the next room had a party at 2 in the morning and they were extremely noisy even though the security staff told them three times. The following day, I was awaken by a loud noise created by a drunk person and there was a big chaos on the 4th floor.

Room was very clean, including the bathroom. They came and cleaned everyday. Pool was great! Beach view was amazing! Staff gave me the run around for a refund that was owed to me. Transportation, laundry and restaurant reservation services weren’t clear either. Overall was good though. Also they never explained how to turn on the lights, we had to figure that out ourselves.

Well, when you book your trip don't listen to Delta airlines because they told me that my passport card was good enough for the flights going and coming. Wrong! Your passport card is only good for driving over the Mexican border or going into Mexico off of a Cruise Ship; or perhaps swimming across the Rio Grande but not flying over their sky. Anyhow, it took six-ten Delta employees to come to that conclusion. Our driver drove us back home to get my passport. On the way back to the airport I received an email saying the plane departed early so there we sat broken hearted and you know the rest of that saying. Delta airlines gave us a full refund for the flight but Southwest airlines says we have six months from the day of booking the vacation to fly out of Mexico to any where we want to go. Thankfully I purchased the insurance for $155. so we will receive the Rui Ventura cancun Mexico 6 night all inclusive stay. The Hotel staff was really kind andwe kept our cool. I'll let everybody know how great it was when we go. Let's GO Linda

Kids pool needs improvement very isolated . Everything was great BUT the restroom in our room had a very BAD smell from pluming and everyone seems they had same complaint. Other than that everything was great .

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Ventuara! The hotel was beautiful,clean,and very well maintained.The staff was friendly, helpful and always made us feel welcome.Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily, with everything we needed.We would definitely come back again!

Overall the property was excellent! When it came to entertainment, the shows were very good !! The part related to Live Bands! very poor!! .. they need to hire much better live bands,, In our case, we closed the day after the shows.

Pool areas were always clean, 6th floor pool was our fave since it's only adults just sucked they closed at 7pm and opened at 10 am. Overall it was a great time and a calm hotel for the time we were there. View from our room on 11th floor was def gorgeous!
