"We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. "Lovely hotel but has seen better days. In need of refurbishment. The A/C in our room was very weak & the shower was broken. The room was really spacious & very comfortable bed. Unfortunately our room overlooked the railway line which obviously increased the noise levels. The staff were very friendly & competent. The pool area wasn't particularly clean & the men's steam room wasn't working."

"Fijn hotel op een fijne locatie. Dicht in de buurt van zowel bussen als metro's. Ik had een kamer zonder ramen en deze werd aardig warm, zeker omdat de airco stopt wanneer je de kamer verlaat. De kamer was klein, maar fijn (zeker als je alleen reist) en is voorzien van een nette badkamer met zeep. Het enige wat ik miste in de kamer was een waterkoker."

"Room was spacious and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have both a bath and shower in the room. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel had good facilities including a gym and a restaurant/ bar. Very good location, only a few minutes from the tube and very near Tower Bridge, however was not too loud or busy. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The hotel was exceptionally well‑maintained, and the rooms were spotless. The staff was helpful and respectful, always making sure our needs were met throughout our stay. We loved the breakfast selection and the cozy atmosphere. The smell of Gardenia/Jasmin was too strong in the foyer and elevator

Very clean and comfortable
I didn't like the bar code for dining in, half the time it didn't work.
The bathroom did not have an outlet. Doing your hair next to a sleeping person isn't optimal. The only outlet with a mirror is beside the bed.
The shower taps should have indicators showing how to use them.
I almost slipped out...

"The location is great. The hotel is kept and maintained brilliantly. Sadly, my stay and sleep was ruined by some very loud drilling and banging in the very earlier hours of Saturday morning.
When I told the staff about this all they said was that they would look into and walked off.
Overall, brilliant hotel. Just a terrible experience which I hope is a one off."
