Pension di Catalonia

"The penthouse apartment was nice inthat it has an outside patio. The staff could have been a little more helpful though. We were traveling with a one year old and asked for water. They leave 1 water bottle in the room but we requeseted one during the day and they said "no"."

"The staff are exceptionally helpful! The front desk staff especially (Narin? And Joaquina) made sure I have answers to all questions about attractions, restaurants and transit! Excellent staff! The room ca get few upgrades like a refrigerator/microwave, extra side table."

"Clean sheets, hot water, amazing location."

"Malo muy mall"

"Clean and comfortable rooms, good location, free good coffee, nice upper level terrace courtyard. One problem I had is that there was excessive partying music from the same or next building. We were in Room 1 and on Saturday night the music went on till 2 am. Reception couldn't do much since it was from next door."

"Lovely place to stay and conveniently located"

"Just a little more positive attitude from staff would have gone a long way to making the stay more pleasurable."

"The room we ended up staying in looks nothing like the photos. The window does not face the open air or the street. Instead, it faces an elevator, which is used throughout the night and makes the room very noisy. The room itself looks completely different from what was shown in the photos. This was very disappointing, even though the staff is nice, but we feel the hotel was not honest about the actual room condition."

"Great location and amazing staff"

"Was slightly further out of the centre than I thought but within 15 mins I was at the old gothic section or a two min walk to the metro on the L3 line which gets you to the centre or the magical water fountaina the other way. Room was basic but served my needs (just to sleep), mattress was so comfortable which surprised me. Staff were helpful and majorly of the building is private so was quiet overall. Some road works around the hotel happening at the time of this review but again was quiet."
