"My daughter and I were travelling through Queenstown and stayed three nights at the Kamana Lakehouse. The hotel was beautiful and the views of the lake were outstanding. The service was great as well. I understand some people were not happy about the parking lot views and the construction but that does not bother me. The only reason I gave four stars on service is because there should be more options for breakfast. The dinner was excellent along with the wine. Breakfast was a set menu but it would be best if there were some quick fruit and continental options when timing is tight for travelers and activities that get planned during the day. There is nothing near to go to unless you go to town so if you do not have time for a full sit down breakfast, you are a bit out of luck. That would be my only complaint otherwise, everything was lovely."

"Wendy and David, our hosts, were wonderful! They worked well as a team to prepare our amazing breakfasts (David's excellent homemade granola) with delicious juice and coffee options. They also have excellent suggestions of things to do and see + restaurant recommendations. Wendy even gave us a ride to the hiking path to town which was a great option. Wow--we couldn't have asked for better service. In addition, there is a yoga/workout room, sauna , and jacuzzi. Absolutely incredible views from our room. The BEST stay, thanks to our wonderful hosts, location and accommodations. Highly recommend. "
