"This was a great home base for our visit to Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The location and view were outstanding and the pool and water slide were perfect for our grade school aged children. "

"Very nice hotel and not too expensive. The property, room, pool area and all around were very clean. The bathroom was huge. The pool is indoor, so that was nice as well. Free breakfast was appreciated. The parking is good and free. Overall, I would gladly stay here again for multiple nights. It’s also conveniently located close to everywhere. "

"We very much enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit areas. They were located along the running creek, which added to the ambience. The other guests were very nice as well. The room was large and comfortable, and the AC worked well."

"Pool was closed and visually a eye sore because of leaves and old rain water( it should've been updated on app because I wouldn't have booked. I had mold in my room. Multiple stains on bedding. I tried to get some of my money back but staff came to my room to "fix" my issues. You can't "fix" mold and it was too late to book elsewhere. Worst experience EVER‼️"

"Ok, for starters, we all know the online photos are meant to make the properties look better than they are, but the rooms were not even close to what was online. The rooms were to give the log cabin feel, but only putting up some log design dressers and a comforter with trees on it, doesn’t automatically create that theme, but that’s not the worst to point out. The property clearly was not a part of the original grounds and was a shady, motel adjacent that was lazily fixed up to match. Now for...

"The motel was great the staff was great but I do not understand let me make this clear I do not understand why you cannot assign a parking spot if it's room 100 then put you got a parking spot at 100 or just one you got room 422 make it 4:22 batch it's very simple we could not even park at our motel. At all and I'm disabled we had to park at the motel right beside St James because there was no parking"

"What a beautifully maintained Historic Inn. Friendly staff, clean room/hotel, delicious hot breakfast. We had a lovely 3rd floor suite. The outdoor private patio was a plus. Perfect location with easy walking distance to many attractions. Celebrated an Aunt/Niece Trip. Would recommend this quaint place. Definitely would stay there again. Thank you for the memories."
