"Good size room, very comfy bed. Staff friendly but somewhat convoluted online check in. Water pressure was low but sufficient. Sadly no breakfast on offer currently as place is being refurbished. But in spite of the issues, I will be back when I'm in the area and see what it's like after the refurb is complete."

"I had a great stay at the palms. I stayed for four days for a wedding event that took place in the event center. The staff were warm and most especially Nicholas at the front office also the housekeeping team that came in every morning for the room cleaning. The entire team was helpful. The Palms is near Harold Wood station, where you get on the Elizabeth line to take you to Heathrow airport or connect other places in the UK. "Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, das Zimmer sauber, aber das Kanal war verstopft und beim Duschen ist immer ein Kanalgeruch da gewesen und auch Wasser in der Badewanne gebliebenen. Aber halb so schlimm. Ich würde trotzdem wieder dort übernachten. "

"The room was beautifully clean and decorated well and had an en-suite bathroom and toilet. Very happy with the room and amenities. Unfortunately the owner had forgotten we were coming even though I had phoned her the night before. We arrived and spent 15 minutes in the dark and cold (3C) knocking on the door . No answer. No lights on. I tried ringing the mobile number 7x. Eventually it was picked up - she was at the gym! She told us how to get in, which was a relief as we were just about to go...
