"Staff of hotel and restaurant are exceptionally helpful and pleasant, as well as flexible. The location is also really perfect, with short walks to the river in one direction and all the pubs and restaurants you need in the other. Rooms are very comfortable. The only downside is that one pub under the hotel had loud live music on Saturday night that was very audible in my room. It was a nice selection and if I hadn't needed to be up very early the next morning, I might have gone to the pub...

"Central yet car friendly, short walk to V&A and Discovery, numerous places to eat nearby (including an in-house option). Loads of thoughtful extras including a fan for warmer days, flannels, hot chocolate, chilled water...and a duck. Room serviced daily; spacious and well-decorated. Pool and sauna very clean; much appreciated after a day walking around St Andrew's. Staff efficient and welcoming. No internal noise although Tay Bridge traffic somewhat audible with window open. Would readily...

"Arrived at hotel early evening. Had problems from beginning i.e. trying to log in to pay for parking, enquiries re breakfast. Staff do not know anything about parking, restaurant and leisure facilities as they are all owned separately.
Have stayed here often over previous years but sadly it has gone downhill.
However, the room was clean, bed and bedding was very comfortable and bathroom/shower came with soap and toiletry sachets.
We didn't get breakfast as it didn't look worth paying £14. ...
