"The room was very clean and beautiful. It was a smaller resort but the staff where incredibly friendly and always smiling and saying good morning. The meals were from a set menu, but even as a picky eater I was always impressed and left full. The bartenders were personable and always willing to make new drinks. There is no direct beach access, but a quick boat ride from the dock or a 15 minute walk would get you to a very quite beach. We planned to eat at Breeze resteraunt and have a drink...

Having the ability to go to Prickly Pear Beach from the shoreline was an added bonus. There were plenty of lounge chairs around the adult pool and beach. Overall, I came to Antigua to get away from the cold weather in New York and to relax, and The Hodges definitely helped me achieve both of those goals."
