"Hotel is smashing. Very beautiful architecture. Great butler service to attend every needs in great details. Terrace of ocean view in Castle is delightful. Food in Steakhouse is highly recommended. "Favorite resort in Punta Cana. Short drive there, great food, well maintained. Been to 6 other resorts and Joia is the best for us. Average age is probably 50, but we like that. No stupid stuff by the pool ruining the vibe, people have respect for other travelers. Nice change from other less laidback resorts. Not for the 21-35 crowd. "

"Great food, amenities, events by the pool during the day and in the lawn in the evenings. Plenty of activities for kids so the beach remained pretty peaceful and not crowded. Probably the best hotel/resort gym I’ve ever seen. If I had one recommendation, it would be to add more umbrellas on the beach. There were plenty of chairs, but umbrellas became a Hunger Games situation as there was one umbrella for every 10-15 chairs (versus one umbrella for every two chairs by the pool). "

"From start to finish Zoetry exceded our expectations. We were sent to another resort we were unhappy with and got relocated to Zoetry by Expedia. As soon as we arrived we were greated by our concierge Dio who went above and beyond all week. The grounds were gorgeous and the beach was perfect.
