"Hotel Bristol Palace, Genoa — A Beautiful, Central Stay with Old-World Charm We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bristol Palace in Genoa. The location is outstanding—right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of the historic center, shops, restaurants, and major sights. It made exploring Genoa effortless. The hotel itself is elegant and full of character. The classic interiors, grand staircase, and beautifully maintained public spaces give it a genuinely special atmosphere that...

"This hotel is a grand hotel built with other grand hotels throught Europe at the turn of the 20th century with the relatively new railroad providing comfortable "speedy" travel compared to ships and horse drawn carriages. The hotel keeps its historic charm with its architecture, antiques and paintings throughout but has been recently updated with all modern amenities. The staff is very professional and there is excellent room cleaning. The hotel has a commanding view of the Portofino Coast from...

"Beautiful Hotel and great location to explore on the Cinque Terre Ferry system."

"The room was cozy and clean. We really enjoyed the view and being away from the noise and crowds of the city. I would return without hesitation."

"Simple mais très bien"

"A clean quiet room. A beautiful hotel with high ceilings and marble stair ways. Not close to amenities, 5-10 minute drive. The hotel lacks a sign outside."

"Prima resort . Mooie grote kamers . Een slaap en zitkamer . Met koffie /thee en water voor de gasten . Parkeerplek aan de overkant . Prima ontbijt . Koffie machines die hapere. (Helaas) ook een mooi park en prachtig zwembad . Zeker een aanrader voor langer verblijf .Ook ideaal voor gezinnen ."

"The room was very nice well and pointed with a smart TV. However, we were there for three nights and we seldom had any hot water after asking the staff to take a look at it two different occasions the swimming pool look like a swamp. The outside of the property was not well maintained. The walls were so thin that you could easily hear conversations next-door. The view was spectacular. The room was very nice. However everything else was not up to par."

"This is for sure the most peculiar room booked through Expedia; the Executive room that we received it was the most hidden and noisy but not from the street ; due to the air pipes just near the window we had the most unpleasant slip in all our visits from Italy in the last 5 years. And we visited Turin, Bologna, Padova, Ravenna and other gorgeous Italian cities. Also, the coffee maker was in fact a kettle with instant coffee sachets : in Italy, the country with a coffee philosophy."

"Comfortable bed, close to restaurants, shopping and train station. Lovely area."
