"The reception staff were friendly and attentive. Property in a poor state of repair, both in the bathrooms - leaking shower screens, cracked and mouldy tiles, and also the spa was filthy I cannot think why anyone would attend for a spa break. Showers were cold in the spa and filthy changing rooms. Beds were comfortable and clean. Sadly no water or biscuits provided in the rooms. Breakfast was fine although the pancake machine clearly hadn't been used in a while as instead of a pancake I got a...

"Staff friendly and professional, room pleasant with tea/coffee making facilities; small fridge would have been useful for the water that was also provided. Would book again although the brasserie menu was a little limited - not much in the way of fish dishes and would prefer more traditional options. Breakfast was substantial with choice of continental, cereal, fruit as well as good range of cooked items"

"Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb."
