"This is my second time staying at the Apex City of Bath Hotel and I loved the experience. The room was clean and well maintained and we got complimentary welcome drinks. When we had to unexpectedly check out late, they accommodated us for 2 more hours at no extra cost. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is also well located in the city centre."

"On site parking was terrible with broken furniture all over like a dumping ground. On the rare occasion the staff were on site, we had to walk through clouds of smoke where the male staff were sat outside. Cleanliness of the main hotel was below par. The room itself was ok, but I bought some cleaning materials, as did my companions in Other rooms. At one stage the water was completely cut off and the only way to report it was to phone a call centre in London to get it fixed. I am amazed this...

"I was left somewhat frustrated to pay £16 per head for breakfast for 3 people - total £48. I ordered the larger cooked breakfast and was then asked to pay an extra £6. The bigger breakfast had an egg and a pice of black pudding. This has left a negative feeling of what was an otherwise excellent stay at the hotel."

"The room was comfortable, large, and clean. It has air conditioning which was essential for us as there was a heat wave. Large bathroom. Outlets at bedside. Nice amenities. Coffee/Tea/water/cookies in room. There is a small fridge but it wasn’t very cool. Lovely view. Friendly staff. Nice lounge and bar. The restaurant was being renewed so food options weren’t great. "Beautiful old building and friendly welcome. Staff really helpful and room was spacious with lovely decor and a stunning view across the city and the valley. Peaceful location a mile out of the main centre of Bath, up a hill, but easily reached by regular bus service if arriving by train."
