Bozena was fantastic at breakfast, providing friendly and attentive service, and the barman was very accommodating by providing a fan during the current heatwave, which was greatly appreciated. Another great stay from start to finish. Thank you to the whole team—I look forward to returning again soon!"

"I felt like I’d walked onto the set of ‘Cross Roads’. A very tired old hotel which looks like it hasn’t been upgraded since the 80’s. On arrival we were immediately offered the option to spend an extra £25 to upgrade to have A/C in the room but despite it being hot, I’d already spent well over £100 for the night for a very budget experience so I declined. We were then given a room on the lower ground floor which felt like going down a dimly lit corridors to a dungeon. The room was very dated and...

"Here’s a polished, short review you can post: Stayed 11th July – absolutely faultless. We were at Ascot during the day and came back to the Royal Foresters for food and football in the evening, and honestly everything was spot on. Check‑in was smooth, the room was lovely, the staff were brilliant, and the atmosphere for the match was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was huge and delicious. All in all, a solid 10/10 and we’ll definitely be back again next year."

"This property had recently changed hands and was under major renovation. The previous owners were still managing the hotel while this reconstruction was happening. They were anxious to be of service during this time. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and known locally as serving excellent Middle Eastern food. When complete, this location will probably become well recommended."

"Comfortable bed, friendly greetings on arrival, clean kitchen area and lots to offer for breakfast. Fridge in the room which is quiet unlike some places! Hairdryer, kettle and provisions in the room, plenty of plugs, touch bedside lamps, big TV screen, mirror, table and chairs sitting area by the window. Separate Shower rooms compact but very clean."

"Very disappointing stay. The air conditioning in our room didn't work all night despite multiple complaints, and the hotel couldn't fix it, provide a fan, or move us to another room. My family, including young children, barely slept because the room was unbearably hot. Instead of offering a refund, the hotel only offered a discount on a future stay. I expected much better customer service and would not recommend staying here."
