"Staff were fantastic and my dad was given a wonderful welcome. The rooms and cleanliness and hospitality and warmth was outstanding. "We had some issues with the original room and were changed almost immediately. Both rooms we were in are in desperate need of some TLC, a repaint, some basic maintenance and in the one we slept in, a new mattress. Rooms are very small too. We saw two cracked windows in the walkway from reception to rooms - risk assessment!!! The staff were very nice, helpful and I'm sure they feel that they are fighting an uphill battle. Breakfast was adequate at best. Parking is ok. More options for access to...

"Lovely clean and spacious rooms. Entrance and seating area is modern and fresh. Staff were so welcoming and attentive in all areas. The pool was disappointing though-the jacuzzi wasn’t working and the changing rooms need renovating. Pool was warm and not crowded. Overall, a wonder stay with delicious breakfast. "

"We love staying at the Ethorpe although we've not since the refurb, but wow! The rooms are amazing, really comfy beds, decorated very tastefully with a gorgeous bathroom to boot! The whole refurb is brilliant. The breakfast was fantastic. Such a wonderful choice of breakfasts from pancakes to eggs benedict. A wide array of juices, pastries, all served by a very helpful and friendly waiter. I would highly recommend the Ethorpe Hotel!"

"The breakfast wasnt great but the staff were friendly. The air conditioning was working but i felt the room was a bit cold for my liking but the staff did turn on the heating but if just wasn't hot enough for me. However both the room & its surroundings were beautiful! "
