"This hotel is somewhere I've stayed before. Usually sound & reliable.
This time I booked & prepaid only to find, quite by chance, that they had effectively cancelled my booking WITHOUT FORMALLY TELLING ME so they could carry out a long term refurbishment. On the day of my supposed check-in the place was a building site.
I'd had the foresight to rebook at another place so that at least I had somewhere to stay at the start of my 3 month visit to Hanoi.
My task now is to get my money back from...

"This hotel has beautiful decor and a comfortable and cosy atmosphere. As on our previous visit, we stayed in a Executive Suite on the 5th floor and that was very pleasant.
As soon as you get there, the staff welcome you with a drink, a smile, ready to hand you keys and answer your questions.reception staff,, waitresses, housekeeper no exception all trained to good standards of customer service.
We booked the 2 days tour to halong bay and full day trip to Paradise Cave and dark cave in Phong...

"Great location just a 3-minute walk to Bánh Mì 25, with a scooter rental and barber shop right next door. The AC worked well, the fridge (with freezer) & safe were a nice bonus, and the bed was clean and comfortable. You get two complimentary bottles of water per stay, and the minibar items are fairly priced if you use them.
The bathroom was clean but a bit outdated. For a short two-night stay, it was perfectly fine. Amenities are basic the hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo are all the same...
