Many eateries in the area which serve when the in house catering is closed (open 10:00-3:00). Building is old, so not surprised by some minor plumbing issues. Staff friendly and helpful."

"It was in such a great location! We loved the pub was downstairs and served such great food and drinks! It was nice to walk upstairs and not have to worry about driving. Free parking was nice. Breakfast was just cereal, cold croissant, and a banana but at least it was free. The room was cute but the ceiling was pretty low. "Lovely pub hotel, close to Gatwick airport. We had an upstairs room in the separate annex outside the main building. Very spacious room, clean bathroom, and comfy bed. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent (if a little pricey). Was leaving for the airport at 7:30am and breakfast started from 8, so they prepared us a very substantial packed breakfast to go. Overall excellent value for money and would certainly stay again and recommend."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton at Gatwick’s South Terminal. We loved the room - the bed was massive and perfectly comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean with good water pressure and temperature in the shower. The staff were very friendly too, but the highlight for us was the breakfast. At breakfast there was a huge selection of breads, pastries, cereals, nuts and seeds, yoghurts and fruit, hot and cold drinks, cooked food and we especially appreciated the deli with salads, cheeses...

"Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. "
