"I was very disappointed with my stay at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino. The lobby had no air conditioning, which made check-in and common areas very uncomfortable, especially in the heat. The food quality was below expectations, with limited variety and poor taste compared to other resorts in the area. The only difference this time was the food portion in the actual restaurant, I feel like we got more food last time in the French restaurant. We ended up getting the same plates from last time we were there, My food was great but my husbands food was so small it looked like a kids meal so they gave him a second plate. "One thing that disappointed me during my stay was the hotel’s visitor policy. Guests were not allowed to have more than one person visit the room at a time, even briefly during the day. I completely understand limits on overnight guests or parties, but this policy felt unusually restrictive and was not clearly disclosed when booking. Had I known beforehand, I likely would have chosen a different hotel."
