"The staff was really nice and understanding, even though our japanese level wasn't wonderful. The baths are clean and you might book your slots for each of the private bath in the planning. You can go to the public bath related to your gender any time. The dinner was so exhilarating and a wonderful insight of the japanese culture and gastronomy as for the breakfast. "We really enjoyed our traditional Japanese room complete with our own private onsen. There is very little English spoken at the hotel but a lot of effort put into ensuring we were comfortable. It is a 20 minute walk from the train station but that was fine and a nice relaxing way to end the day. There is also a hotel shuttle but it is very crowded so we opted to walk instead. "The hospitality at Yusakaso was absolutely stellar. Extremely clean, gracious staff, delicious presentable breakfast and dinner served in-room. The Japanese-style bed was comfortable, and my room was spacious. There is one outdoor mixed-gender onsen which becomes women-only from 20:00-21:00 (8-9pm) and two indoor onsens for women-only and two for men-only. "This a small Ryokan which is very authentic Japanese style. No English spoken but this adds to the authenticity. We loved the natural accommodation which was exactly as shown on the website. Excellent meal provided in the evening and an enormous breakfast which we were not expecting so was a bonus. We lounged about in out Japanese clothes provided and Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this clean and peaceful retreat. "
