"This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I paid £55 for a night's bed and breakfast on a Saturday (the Travelodge nearby was £150 room only!). The common areas (reception and bar) were very nicely decorated / furnished and felt more like a higher priced hotel. "Booked a basic room over the weekend. Everything, including bathroom, was very clean. The bathroom door is just a sliding door (in case this is important to anyone). There was some muted noise from other guests but not too noisy even on the first floor. Staff was watchful and helpful. The hotel is also about a mile from a very big train station.
