"This is an exceptional place to stay. The reason it’s a 4 star not a 5 is because there were A LOT of kids for lacrosse and they screamed in the pool and took over the entire pool and lobby. They ran down the hallways and I feel the staff - who was really phenomenal- should have told the parents (who had no manners) to behave with consideration for all the guests who were staying. "From 7/4-7/6 the pool WAS not available. And that’s because they allowed locals to have their 4th of July family cookouts there from 1pm til they closed the pools at 10pm. I mean so many people that you couldn’t even enjoy the pool because of all the kids & family members that was invited. When us guest paying close to $200 a night & not able to take a dip comfortably because so many people who weren’t even paid guest on the property. I was able to spend less than an hour on the 5th around 1pm...

The lobby area smelled wonderful however there was an awful sour stench in the elevator area of the 2nd floor in which we stayed. "The room was very clean, towels were really plush, bed and pillows were plush and comfortable. Hotel was quiet at night and location was fabulous and very safe in a very upscale neighborhood. The only quirky thing was the bathroom door in the room was a sliding barn door made out of frosted glass with no lock, so the bathroom was not private if you are staying with your children, etc."
