"Quite a unique experience with traditional Japanese furniture and room layout. The owner clearly put a lot of thoughts in building out this hotel by integrating modern appliances into traditional Japanese house architecture. Beautifully decorated garden. Staff were super helpful."

The owner was very kind and he provided precise recommendations for transit. He also provided us with a map of Kyoto as well as a general guidebook for tourists. "Our kids and us love staying here. The staff was super easy to communicate with. All the check-in and checkout instructions were super detailed. We had a little miscommunication on checkout about where the key cards were and the online staff did they due diligence to make sure the keys were where I said I put them. "We were 3 friends traveling and the room was huge we each had our own bed and lots of room for all our bags. We had come from Tokyo where there was not even room to turn around. The staff was helpful and a castle with beautiful gardens was across the street. I would highly recommend Noku Kyoto "
