"Great staff at this lovely hotel. Views are stunning. Activities to suit all. Very close to Peebles town centre. Plenty of food options. Room was very comfortable and super clean."

"An old fashioned hotel with a fabulous brealfast in the old dining room. Lots of open fires. Unforunately the hotel is built over several levels with lots of creaking stairs . You will need help with your lugguage and it was provided. Hotel can be a bit noisy with the pub across the road and nearby construction. Safety handrails would be useful for getting out of the shower/bath."

"It is perfect for the night before a flight. It's in walking distance to the airport. (Like a really short walk - 5-10 minutes all in with luggage). The hotel itself has amazing sound proofing as well as I was not bothered at all by airport noise - which is pretty good since we could see planes coming in from our room. Includes breakfast, which was pretty good with plenty of options and opens at 6am. (We had time to quickly grab and then head to the airport for our 9am flight). We noticed they...

"Beautiful looking property on the outside with the main areas inside full of history, one of the most historic looking hotelsi have stayed at, however, with all this charm you are led to expect the same for the room! I was staying in a " Classic " room. Whilst i appreciate this is not a suite, the room was very tired and shabby. The bathroom was tiny, barely room to move. The carpets old and filthy. "Everything was quite wonderful - exceeded our expectations. The only glitch was with the taxi we had requested for 3:30 am. I even followed up a couple days beforehand to confirm and rec'd an email confirmation yet come that morning there was no record of the reservation. Fortunately the gentleman on duty was able to get us in a taxi that was coming for another guest (who was amenable to our joining them) so we made our flight. The night manager was extremely helpful and personable."

"Appena arrivati ci hanno detto che non c’era più posto per la colazione il giorno dopo prima delle 10,30.Avrebbero dovuto nel caso scrivere il giorno prima per dirci di prenotare l’orario.Ci hanno fatto andare in reception a prenderla ed erano 3 sandwich,3 mele,non la colazione completa pagata!Alla sera ritornati,la stanza non era stata pulita e gli asciugamani non cambiati.Pare bisognasse mettere Service room alla porta,ma non era indicato da nessuna parte e sinceramente di default anche...
