"An absolutely great hotel and location. Very clean overall, rooms had hooks and space to hang and place clothing and bags. The workout facility was one of the best I've seen in a hotel - a good set of dumbbells, pulley machine, and plenty of cardio equipment. A nice pool and the hot tub was outside, but a smaller. A roof patio to take in the view. A small, but ample bar. The breakfast was very good as well and staff made sure it was stocked and clean - coffee was good as well - even had bagels...

"The location was excellent. It’s right on the beach. the shuttle service to and from Sheppler was top-notch service. Housekeeping cleaned our rooms every day. The maintenance guy was beyond amazing. Make sure bonfires and s’mores every night. The breakfast was pretty decent as well. Only minor thing I would mention is the bathrooms were small and the toilets could use an upgrade. Otherwise, it was an excellent day and I would definitely recommend if you want to stay right on the beach."

"So, the check in process was slow... gal said she was by herself and normally they had 2. There were 6 of us in line... she was very polite and professional, just slow. Our room wasn't ready until 4:20. Felt like they had just survived a major event... when we got the room it was clean but the hanging light fixture was broken and we discovered the next day the shampoo and body wash were empty. Still, the 24hr concierge was fantastic, the free Shepler shuttle saved us time and money, and the fire...

"While this hotel is in a tourist-friendly location, my stay unfortunately did not live up to the high ratings seen on their website or the premium price of $500/night. The Room: The room felt quite cramped and a bit dated compared to the online photos. Cleanliness was also not quite up to the standard I would expect at this price point. "I cannot say enough about this wonderful property! I don’t usually stay at a “motel” but made an exception and I am so glad we did! A young couple bought this property and are renovating it beautifully! Many thoughtful touches have been added including a fire pit with all the s’mores fixings!
