"Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were always excellent. We particularly enjoyed visiting the rooftop (terrace) bar, especially during its "happy hour"! Mixed feelings about our room. Although undoubtedly stylish, it was surprisingly dark and we thoroughly disliked the needlessly complex lighting controls. We would also have preferred a more complete separation of "private" facilities (toilet and shower) from the other living quarters. "

"A 5 star resort , great spa too. Indoor pools, hot tub and steam room were serien. Our massage therapist was knowledgeable and friendly as well. The main outdoor pool is massive and water warm. The breakfast buffet is outstanding . The staff were always polite and spoke various languages fluently. Our room was very large with a terrific shower. I loved their optional pillow selection as well. The cleaning staff folded our clothes too daily. A nice touch. There are plenty of great restaurants...

"We stayed for our honeymoon in Madeira and loved it! The spa amenities, daily breakfast buffet and of course the views were incredible. We rented a car from the front desk and that process was SO easy and seamless. Parking was free and easy. This was the perfect spot for us to easily get on the highways and explore the island of Madeira each day. My husband and I are truly so pleased"

The location of the hotel is not only at walking distance to all major sightseeing in Funchal, but also have tour operator options nearby and within the hotel itself. The central location makes it quite easy and convenient to commute with the public transport nearby. The rooms are also spacious with perfect Ocean view to grace your vacation everyday. The breakfast had a wide variety of food selection...
