"I booked a room on Expedia as a non-smoking king size room. When I checked in they gave a smoking room king size and was told that since I booked through a third party this is what I had to take. Not thrilled and the room and floor smelled terrible. Room service was not offered so I had to beg the staff for clean towels and wash clothes for the second night. Overall the hotel and casino was nice but not thrilled with the resort fee charges that everyone seems to be getting away with nowadays."

"The front office at check in and check out was great. The room was ok, carpets were dirty and had unknown splatter marks on the walls. The bed was good, pillows were great and the shower was good. The toilet didn’t flush properly. Was only a one night stay, but I would not come back."

"This is an older motel, but it has been pretty well maintained. Some of the repairs (drywall) were a little on the shabby side, but overall pretty decent.
Breakfast was basic, but good.
The best part of this motel is the view. Beautiful mountain views greet you every morning.
Very reasonably priced."

"I was enchanted by this property. Having a pool, bar, restaurant was much less important than sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch with a blanket. The property was beautiful. I really enjoyed talking to the manager. He was very helpful and gave me information on the history of the property.
The room was comfortable and had everything I needed.
I will be staying here again when in Waynesville. An absolutely beautiful property."
