"The breakfast was decent, the rooms were not as clean as they could have and should have been. You have to pay for parking $40 per night and if not, you have to find parking surrounding the hotel. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. There’s a TV in room, but there is no access to use your own Netflix, Hulu or other streaming service so things to watch on TV were limited. "We love this hotel and always stay here when we come to NYC. Staff is very friendly and the included breakfast is perfect. Clean and efficient rooms. And location good for getting to manhattan. 5 min walk to metro! Highly recommend."

"Both elevators did not work. Needed to climb 12 floors on foot. While checking out staff asked "how was your stay". I mentioned the elevators not working made for a poor experience. The response was "I'm sorry to hear that". Not sure what the point of asking is if there's no intention to rectify the situation."

"The room was clean but the balcony was disgusting, seeing dirty diapers along with many cigarettes out the window is crazy. For the price I was excepting it to much cleaner."

"I found the staff great. They were always so friendly. Unfortunately the room we were in had a mildew smell to it. Car fresheners didn’t work. Had the windows open to help. The pigeons kept making a ruckus. The bed was uncomfortable and only had two limp pillows. The lady at the desk had to worry about getting attacked by rats when she left for her shift. But it was a great trip to NYC"
