"We’ve stayed at the Germantown Inn for the past three years and have always enjoyed it, and seeing Krissy, the friendly and knowledgeable innkeeper. We were sorry to see this year that the lovely afternoon charcuterie spread is no longer offered and the generous warm breakfast including homemade quiche is now a barebones collection of muffins and other empty carbs and a pot of coffee. Germantown Inn was a pricey indulgence that the extras helped us to rationalize. I feel less inclined to choose...

"Great location, great hotel. Very clean and quiet. Did not have that much interaction with the staff except for the parking attendance who were great. My only complaint would be the coffee situation. It was horrible. I don’t know what that set up was, but you could not make a decent cup of coffee with it. It seems like a conspiracy to get you to go down and buy a $10 cup of coffee. Next time I’ll bring my own portable Keurig. Also, we did not have any mate service the second night we were there....

"This is a nice hotel that is in reasonable shape. However, service was slow and ooor, from reception to general service. Also no coffee machines in rooms?? First “luxury” hotel I have stayed in that has no in-room coffee. Would definitely not go back."

"Room was beautiful, elegant, and cozy. Breakfast was simple yet high quality. Bathtub was luxurious. Jazz was incredible. And it's situated in the perfect spot to walk to dinner, drinks, and coffee. We sipped bubbly from the porch and drank in the relaxed atmosphere. Been dreaming of a stay here for over 7 years--it did not disappoint! Can't wait till next time! "

"We were very disappointed with the Executive Lounge. It was my understanding the lounge would have a continental breakfast. I paid extra money to have an executive room, so we may grab a quick breakfast before heading out. Instead, our options were bananas, oranges, kiwis (no knives to open them), nuts, chex mix and a trail mix. Definitely not worth the up charge."
