"This Inn has a lot of charm. It is a historic building on Mackinac. The wrap around second floor porch was a great place to have breakfast in the morning. We were so busy on the island that we did not have time to use the spa. The fudge sold at the Inn was better than some of the fudge at the fudge stores and they were generous with allowing my kids to sample a variety of the fudge. The breakfast was a continental breakfast, with hard boiled eggs, but it was enough to get our day started....

"Excellent location and amazing view from room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant looked very nice and was extremely busy so ended up going into town where there were lots of great options also. Room was well furnished and comfortable; our room had poor TV picture quality and the coffee machine leaked so could not be used. However on a trip like this neither are really needed so wasn’t really a major issue though not expected."

"I read mixed reviews going in so I was a little skeptical, but our room was very clean and updated. We had a beautiful leather upholstered king size headboard with a very comfortable mattress and bedding. The wall behind the bed was finished with stained, thick wood planks, and there was a plaque stating the history of where the wood came from and what they were stained with.You can tell that the rooms were redone in the traditional Common Man aesthetic. The room had a well kept, clean plaid...

"Great service at check in, I pre-checked in, so it made it go so fast. Remodeled rooms, ours had the lpl flooring, which I like better than carpet. Coffee, Tea available all day, a nice lobby with a few seats to relax while waiting for room. Nice options for breakfast to allow you to be full."
