"Wonderful location for a large family gathering. The rental was in great shape and we loved having the 2 units and large lofts for our family Christmas. The beach view from the balcony is slightly obstructed by the not so beautiful toy rentals right in front of the house. It really didn’t bother us and it was worth it to be right in front of the beach and drive in access. Staff responded promptly with any concerns and check in/out was a breeze. Would rent again. "The hotel property was clean and situated in a great location, Lots of restaurants and stores within minutes. About a five minute drive to Pismo Beach. The staff was very friendly. Room was spacious. I would stay here again."

"The staff at Edgewater are very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast snacks are nice and plentiful. The closeness to downtown makes it an ideal destination. The Edgewater, although a nice place to stay, is old and in need of some rehab. One elevator was not working and an ice machine was not functioning. Even with a few negatives, I would stay there again."

The history was also appreciated where multiple Hollywood states stayed there so that was a cool historic touch. A little dated, but not anything that would concern me because the price point was perfect."

"We liked that our room was newly remodeled and was very clean. The only problem was with the parking because of the dumpsters in the parking lot. We were okay with it because they are remodeling and that is to be expected. It’s going to be very nice once they are finished. We will definitely stay here again."

"There is a lot of noise in the room from people and things traveling up and down the walk-way outside. Lovely property that is reasonably priced - so I would consider staying again. But I would make sure that I could be in the second room so that the hall noise isn't such an issue. Breakfast bar is awesome."
