"The hotel rooms are constructed at an angle so each person’s patio is very private. The grounds are lovely with a nice pool. There is a restaurant right at the black sand beach edge. They serve a buffet breakfast at about $20 per person. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area. It is on the opposite side of Papeete than the airport. So taxi ride at least $20 from the hotel to the city center. Also from airport to hotel at night it was $50 taxi. I suspect that was a padded fee. "

"Incredible experience at a true eco-lodge in Teahupo'o Beautifully constructed cabins with incredible authenticity Great layout and comfort for a family Note: cabins are open air, almost treehouses, with no walls or air conditioning Nice pools, although one was closed Beautiful restaurant gazebo (also open air) This location requires a car; there is nothing to walk to"
